Shri Ram institute of Hotel Management is the only Institute of its kind in the region which is capable of providing quality education in Hotel Management and Catering Technology running under the management of Shri Sai Ram Foundation, along with this Institute of Food Craft Technology (IFCT). During the academic session the students undergo an Industrial Training for a period of six months in the Star Hotels. Career Prospects The hospitality industry is both demanding and rewarding. Students from hospitality Institutes have a future not only in hotels but also in the service sector. Name a few - Airlines, Line Cruisers, Multinational Companies, ISP Companies etc. In today’s scenario the Govt. Of India has also promoted the hospitality industry by providing jobs in the Railways, Paramilitary Forces Tourism, Navy and many others.There is no dearth of opportunities for the students in hospitality sector. Based upon an extensive and study of course contents of similar Institutes of repute and prescribed by Shri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. The course is set in such a way that it fulfils a degree programme and is at par with NCHMCT curriculum anywhere in the country. The main objective of the curriculum introduced by the Institute is to provided educational and personality development facilities for preparing young men and women for illustrious career in Hospitality industry.
